Sharing My Journey

3.jpg

I am always learning when it comes to Art. Despite planning & preparation my artwork evolves and pretty much heads in its own direction. I never really finish something I just sometimes need to stop! When I do stop and stand back to contemplate where I have ended up there is one thing that is almost always true (whether I like the piece or not) I would do it completely differently if I started over again!

Several aspects make this event stand out:

  • Local Focus: All artwork is created by artists from Farnham and the surrounding area, giving visitors a chance to support their community.

  • Affordable Art: Many pieces are priced to encourage new collectors to start or expand their collections.

  • Artist Interaction: Some artists, including myself, will be present during the exhibition to discuss our work and creative processes

Tips for Visiting the Exhibition

To make the most of your visit, consider these suggestions:

  • Plan Your Time: The exhibition covers a large space with many pieces. Allocate at least an hour to explore fully.

  • Bring a Notebook: Jot down the names of artists or works that catch your eye for future reference.

  • Ask Questions: If artists are present, don’t hesitate to engage with them about their techniques or inspirations.

  • Consider Your Space: Think about where you might display new artwork at home or work before making a purchase.

My Contribution to the Exhibition

I am proud to present four original pieces at this year’s exhibition. With the super hot whether my studio has become a bit too hot for working in acrylics so I have taken the opportunity to play with oils whilst still maintaining a floral theme. So my pieces are very playful and a little different from one another in style. All pieces are for sale.
